ABOUT

The idea of purchasing and reopening the meat processing facility in Terry was originally Tim’s idea. He always said, “If I were to buy any business in this town, that would be the one,” God has big ways of working, and well, here we are!
Tim grew up on a family ranch operation in Ekalaka, Montana alongside 8 siblings. In 1991, his fencing business brought him to Terry where he met Sam. They married in 1999, had two daughters Bailey & Loni, and began their own ranching and farming operation 5 miles south of Terry. Tim also currently manages Buffalo Rapids Irrigation District #2, serving the Fallon, Terry, and Shirley area ranchers.
Sam grew up here in Terry, on her family ranch 16 miles south of here on the Powder River. After graduating college at MSU Bozeman, she moved back and has been ranching with Tim since then. Sam clerks the livestock sales in Glendive and Miles City two days out of the week. She takes care of most of our scheduling here at the shop.
Bailey and Loni have crucial roles in the family business as well. Bailey takes care of the businesses bookkeeping and day to day organizing. Loni takes care of the retail counter and marketing that part of the business.
As a family, we stay very busy, but by working together we have been able to operate a much needed business in Prairie County!
